Missing woman: Further appeal

North Wales Police have issued a further appeal to help trace Pauline Annette Edwards, who has been missing from Trefor, near Caernarfon for over a week.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the Trefor area on Friday 5th February, between the hours of 12pm and 6pm and in particular any members of the public who may have been surfing in the area, or walking the coastal path near to the West End area of the village.

Inspector Mark Armstrong said: “We would are very keen to speak to a group of surfers who were seen in the Trefor area shortly before Mrs Edwards was last seen, who may be able to provide some invaluable information in assisting us to piece together Mrs Edwards movements that afternoon.

“Whilst we have exhausted land and sea based searches at this time, a team of Detectives are reviewing as much information about Mrs Edwards’ background that may provide us with a lead that may assist us in locating her.

He added: “Any information that assists us in these investigations could prove invaluable, and I would ask people to cast their minds back to the 5th February.”

Mrs Edwards is described as being 5ft 2 inches tall, of slim build and has collar length straight brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black coat with a fur collar, three quarter length black trousers and black boots.

Anybody with information is urged to contact North Wales Police on 101, or 0845 607 1001 (Welsh line) or 0845 607 1002 (English line).
