CMC2, Monmouthshire County Council’s community interest company, is seeking new directors to bring entrepreneurial flair, inspiration and industry intelligence in the digital, green and enterprise sectors. New directors will help inform the future direction and trading operations of CMC2 whilst supporting its social mission. These non-executive posts are unpaid and are to be advertised this week.
Councillor Bob Greenland, the council’s executive member for innovation and enterprise said:
“CMC2 goes from strength to strength as it carries out a range of work on behalf of the communities we serve. Although they are unpaid, the directors are key to that success as they provide the direction, additional expertise and experience to ensure that the company is responsive and effective.”
These posts require a commitment of attendance at quarterly board meetings and no more than two special events or meetings per year, as determined. Applications are welcome from people with a range of experience and expertise.
The closing date for applications is Friday 18th October. Further details are available on the council’s website or by emailing [email protected]
