Monmouthshire to consult on rights of way priorities

Monmouthshire’s Countryside Service team is seeking ideas and views on how its public rights of way maintenance and enforcement should be prioritised.

Principal Countryside Access Officer, Ruth Rourke said: “We started on this process three years ago but now aim to take a fresh view and have engaged a consultancy team – Asken Ltd and Resources for Change – to help and to bring independence and objectivity to the consultation process.”

“No specific system has yet been agreed.  The views of local stakeholders, users and others interested in our PROW network will be vital in helping us to develop the system.  We would very much like to hear from you.”
