Assembly Member, Russell George, said the coffee morning fundraiser in aid of Wales Air Ambulance and the MS Society was a ‘great success’.
Mr George held the event at his Newtown constituency office last Monday morning (12th December) and it was attended by dozens of local constituents.
Commenting Mr George said:
“I’m very pleased by the amount of people that turned out for our second charity coffee morning event.
“I want to thank all those who attended and all those who donated food and raffle prizes.
“In particular, I want to thank all my constituency team for ensuring it was such a well organised and successful event.
“All the money raised will be shared between Wales Air Ambulance and the MS Society, which will allow them to continue to deliver vital services for the people of Mid Wales.”
