Glyn Davies, Montgomeryshire’s Conservative MP last week joined the Tesco supermarket in Newtown for the presentation of school equipment to primary schools in the Newtown area. Recently Glyn Davies joined a similar presentation of equipment to primary schools in the Welshpool area.
Commenting on the presentations Glyn Davies said:
“Its good that local businesses develop a relationship with the people of the area they serve – and a great way of doing this is by engaging with local schools. Tesco’s initiative of presenting school equipment to local primary schools has the duel benefit of helping children understand how a supermarket works ‘behind the scenes’ and providing valuable equipment as well.”
