Clwyd West MP, David Jones was recently (Friday, 1st July) guest of honour at Ysgol Sant Elfod, Abergele, when he officially opened the school’s new vegetable garden. The opening ceremony included a specially-composed song performed by the school choir.
David Jones said:
“I was very pleased to open the new vegetable garden at Ysgol Sant Elfod.
“Ventures such as this are extremely important, putting children in touch with the processes that go into food production.
“The children and staff are to be congratulated for their enthusiasm and all the hard work they have put into this very worthwhile scheme.”
