David Jones MP met with students from Llandrillo College last week during their three day visit to London. The Travel and Tourism students quizzed their Member of Parliament on issues such as tourism in Wales, the economy, and the environment.
The meeting, which included a Question and Answer session, was followed by a tour of the Palace of Westminster, organised by David Jones’s office.
David Jones said:
“I was struck by the enthusiasm and interest shown by the students. They had an understanding of politics, at both a local and national level, questioning me on what matters most to them.
“It was a pleasure to have provided them with the opportunity to tour the Houses of Parliament, which is, of course, not only the heart of British politics, but also an important historical building which attracts many visitors to the UK.”
