Murder of Richard Dyas: Two men charged

South Wales Police investigating the death of a Mountain Ash man have charged two men with murder.

The two men, both aged 18, are due to appear at Merthyr Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with the murder of Richard Dyas whose body was found at his home address in The Poplars, Mountain Ash on Friday, March 12.

Two other men aged 18 and 24, who were also arrested on suspicion of murder, have been released on police bail. Two men, aged 19 and 18, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have also been released on bail.

Detectives still wish to speak to anyone who may be able to provide any information about the incident.
