This Saturday (30th April) sees Cardiff based events manager Peter Phillps having his dreadlocks chopped off for charity
26 year old Peter told us:
“Saturday 30th April sees my 4 year old dreadlocks getting cut off for Ty Hafan, a charity close to my heart and has been for years, the work they do for children and family’s is fantastic and very worthwhile for everyone involved. my mother was one of the fundraisers before the hospice was built so have almost grown up with that thought being with me.”
Peter who works for Sublive organising events all over the country with people from Pete Docherty to Toots and the Maytals to all things dance. He’s work on many projects in South Wales with bands like Super Furry Animals, Feeder, Howard Marks and also with local bands such as Sicknote and Captain Accident.
Peter adds:
“But why cut it off? I fancy a change, my life has changed so much in the last 12 months why not cut off the hair that has been with you for the last 4 years, if I dont like the change I can always spend another 4 years growing them back.
