From Welsh speakers to complete beginners, Coleg Gwent’s Welsh for Adults Centre can help you brush up your skills or learn something new. The centre has recently celebrated a successful week at the National Eisteddfod and seen increased demand for Welsh courses.
Visitors to the Welsh language area at the National Eisteddfod in Ebbw Vale enjoyed expert tuition from Welsh for Adults Centre staff, and took part a wide range of exciting Welsh language activities, including the launch of a new Welsh course for parents with babies and young children.
Centre Manager Geraint Wilson-Price said: “We were delighted by the response to our staff at the Eisteddfod. Visitors to Maes D were really enthusiastic about the Welsh language and gave us wonderful feedback about our courses. It was a fantastic event and we hope it has encouraged more people in the area to start learning Welsh.”
