The Rev Canon Keith Smalldon has been appointed as the new Archdeacon of St Davids.
Canon Smalldon is currently Priest-in-Charge of the parish of Swansea St Barnabas.He is Director of Mission in the diocese of Swansea & Brecon, a former diocesan Director of Education, and a residentiary canon of Brecon Cathedral.
He replaces the former archdeacon, Ven Dr John Holdsworth, who has left the diocese to become Executive Archdeacon for Cyprus & The Gulf,as archdeacon and as Vicar of Steynton, near Milford Haven. He will take up his post after Easter.

Witt Revd Bryan D, Vicar of St Clears w Llangynin & Llanddowror & Llanfihangel Abercywyn, Diocesan Director of Education, to serve also as an Honorary Canon of the Cathedral, 13 January 2011.
Johnson Revd Dr Rhiannon M M, NS Priest in Charge of Walwyn’s Castle, to serve also as half-time Diocesan Course Director for Exploring Faith, 1 January 2011.
