Induction of Lead Chaplain to Cardiff Bay Ministry
‘I am thrilled and excited to be taking up this ministry among such committed people,’ says Revd Peter Noble who on Friday afternoon was inducted as Lead Chaplain to Cardiff Bay.
Peter, from the United Reformed Church, will be based at Lightship 2000 and is committed to creating a Ministry based in the Public Square.
The presence of many interdenominational and community representatives at the service reflects the importance of this role.
The Sponsoring Body of the Local Ecumenical Partnership centred on the Lightship is delighted that the Lord Mayor of Cardiff Cllr Professor Delme Bowen was present at the service which began at 3.00 pm, and took place at the Norwegian Church.
