The Glamorgan Business School’s recently announced, new for September 2010, BA[Hons] Marketing degree has attained the highest level of Chartered Institute of Marketing accreditation (Chartered Postgraduate Diploma).
The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), increasingly recognised by the UK government as the voice of marketing, sets industry standards not only within the UK but across the world. This accreditation acknowledges the new course’s academic rigour and applicability of its practice-based content.
The degree’s accreditation was sought and skilfully gained by Marketing Award Leader, Trevor Hartland, who said, “This is a significant recognition of the quality and suitability of the new award and undoubtedly signifies a great leap in signalling the employability and potential skill of our future graduates”.
The Dean of the Business School, Monica Gibson-Sweet thanked, Trevor for his work and stated “This is fantastic news” and went on to say that the accreditation is undoubtedly “going to add value to our students”.
The new accredited BA Marketing course is currently recruiting for entry in September 2010.
