Residents, businesses and other interested parties are being invited to have their say on an important three-year plan that sets out the Economic Regeneration of Rhondda Cynon Taf.
The Rhondda Cynon Taf Economic Regeneration Strategy sets out a clear action plan for delivering regeneration, ensuring opportunities are maximised and that residents are supported to take advantage of them.
After consideration by Cabinet, the Strategy will now be subject to a five-week consultation period, during which people can study the plan and also air their views.
The plan and accompanying questionnaire can be found online, or in Libraries and One4aLL Centres.
The Rhondda Cynon Taf Economic Regeneration Strategy sets out an ambitious but realistic programme of project delivery that will be monitored and evaluated over the coming years to ensure significant and sustainable outcomes for the future of the County Borough.
Cllr Paul Cannon, Cabinet Member for Safer Communities and Economic Development, said:
“We have drafted an ambitious, realistic plan for Rhondda Cynon Taf over the coming years to ensure that we confidently tackle the current economic challenges and also make best use of the opportunities available to us in the future.
“This is an interesting and important piece of work and people are urged to get involved and see for themselves our plans for the future.
