A new exhibition showing the work of one of the Czech Republic’s leading contemporary photographers is currently on display at Canolfan Maenofferen, Blaenau Ffestiniog.
The examples of Pavel Hudec-Ahasver’s work will draw on three periods in his career – the mid 1960s, the 1970s and 1980s and the first decade of this century. Some of the recent images are of people and landscapes around the Dyfi valley.
Delyth Gordon, Gwynedd Council’s Visual Art Officer, said:
“A great selection of photographs will be on show, from portraits and landscapes to still-life. The works are worth seeing so make sure you visit to see the centre’s first exhibition of 2011.”
The exhibition will be held from 15 January to 12 February 2011 at Canolfan Maenofferen, Blaenau Ffestiniog. It’s open Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday. For more information and opening hours, call 01766 830415.
