Local Housing Association Tai Ceredigion has recently appointed Aled Jones from Rhos, near Llandysul as its new Direct Labour Organisation Manager at its headquarters in Lampeter. Aled will be responsible for the workforce of 50 craftsmen, foremen and support staff that provides maintenance work on homes, as well as delivering an emergency repair service to tenants.
Aled has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the private sector, having worked for property development companies such as Barrat Developments, Lovell Partnerships, Countryside Properties and Crest Nicholson whilst also developing schemes as an individual. Aled said “I am delighted to have joined Tai Ceredigion and look forward to working with the DLO team as we develop our in-house skills to apply external wall insulation, fitting solar panels and offer a competitive service to private householders within the next few months.”

Our DLO team has grown considerably in the last two years through employing local people and giving local apprentices the opportunity to develop their skills.
