Gwynedd Council has launched new bus timetable cards for journeys to Ysbyty Alltwen in Tremadog. The new cards which are small enough to be kept in a wallet or purse will help to encourage people to make the most of the public transport service available.
The pocket-sized timetables include bus times between Porthmadog, Tremadog and Ysbyty Alltwen.
Gwynedd Council Senior Portfolio Leader for the Environment, Councillor Gareth Roberts, who leads on transport matters, said:
“We hope that the cards will raise awareness about the services which are available and will help to boost the use of public transport in the area.
“The cards are already popular with members of the public in the tourist information centres, libraries and amongst visitors to the hospital. We hope that we will be able to extend the idea to other areas if the pilot proves a success.”
