Newport Indoor Market is welcoming four new businesses this autumn.
Adding to the diverse range of shops and services already on offer are Love ME…, Brent Thomas Coaches Ltd, Lisa’s and M & J Trading Co Ltd.
Love ME… offers a range of handmade jewellery. Boasting a fantastic range of acrylic, glass and wooden beads, you can also buy materials to make your own creations. Pop in and browse their range of handmade scarves or buy the wool to have a go yourself. They also offer a range of Match Mummy scarves and jewellery for children and handmade festive, wedding and birthday decorations are available. You can also book Love ME… for private or business parties.
Brent Thomas Coaches Ltd has been in business since 1989 and has recently opened their fifth outlet in Newport Indoor Market. The family-owned company has been selling coach holidays for 21 years and offer a friendly and personal service. Their modern coach fleet and experienced drivers promise quality, value for money holidays. Call in for a brochure. Lisa’s sells a range of items from the essentials such as shampoo, through to picture frames and much more in between.

As well as housing over 60 traders Newport Indoor Market also boasts a popular events programme throughout the year. Tea dances, art and craft fairs and record fairs are regular favourites and each season offers special events and attractions.
This Christmas you can follow the festive trail through the market (4-23 December). Can you answer the clues, find the stars and make your way to the end? Trail guides are available in-store and online from 4 December and there are prizes to be won.
You can also take a chimney ride to visit Santa in his magical grotto, organised by St. Anne’s hospice. The first five people to visit on Saturday 4 December go free, so come down early!
Santa’s grotto will be open on the following dates in December: Sat 4, Wed 8-Sat 11, Wed 15- Sat 18, Mon 20-Thurs 23, opening times are 11am to 4.45pm. Standard grotto charges are £4 per visit with a small gift and £5 per visit with a small gift and photograph.
The market will also be open on Sunday 21 November, 12 to 5pm and Sunday 12 and 19 December, 11am to 4pm, for that extra chance to shop.
