Wales Watersports International Ltd, the official watersports marketing partner of VisitWales recently launched its new interactive website as the portal to all watersports and sailing activities in Wales.
The new website features extensive content on watersports and sailing in Wales and some of the latest internet functionality. As well as being able to search extensive databases of watersports and sailing operators in Wales, visitors are able to use the latest internet mapping techniques to locate watersports operators throughout Wales, rate watersports businesses as well as share watersports experiences through the bog and register for special and promotional offers.
Businesses in the watersports sector, or those who cater for watersports visitors can receive a FREE business listing on the Wales Watersports website (providing they meet either the necessary activity accreditation schemes and/or are quality assured), by simply going to www.waleswatersports.co.uk, click on “Add a Business Listing” and simply fill in the online template.
The new website is just one element of Wales Watersports’ marketing campaign aimed at attracting more visitors to Wales to participate in watersports and sailing activities. The team will be attending Southampton Boat Show in September and the Ordnance Survey Outdoors Show at the NEC in Birmingham in March 2010. Dedicated Watersports and Sailing direct mail campaigns and insertion campaigns will also take place over the next 12 months.
