Monmouth Assembly Member Nick Ramsay is drawing constituents’ attention to the forthcoming Monmouthshire Learning Festival’s Adult Learners’ Week, which runs from June 14th – June 22nd.
Nick, who is hoping to drop in on one of the events, said: “I was amazed by the variety of courses and events on offer – from learning how to restore furniture to Tai Chi taster sessions – all free of charge! There’s foodie workshops, family fun days, walking groups and advice on Open University courses, to name but a few.
“Research shows the positive impact learning has on adult employment prospects, confidence and physical and mental health. This is a great opportunity to learn a new skill, take up a hobby or discover a hidden talent in a fun, relaxed environment. “
