A teleshopping service broadcast after S4C programmes have finished will begin from Friday 4 February with the exception of nights when the Channel broadcasts the sessions of the National Assembly for Wales.
Teleshopping will be broadcast from Friday to Monday nights during the weeks when the Assembly is in session and through the week when the Assembly is in recess.
Elin Morris, S4C Director of Corporate and Commercial Policy, said, “S4C has a responsibility to attract income from different sources in order to protect the core service to our viewers. The teleshopping service will appear after S4C’s own service has closed for the night.”
