Nominate your unsung sports heroes now

Do you know someone who makes a real contribution to local sport in Rhondda Cynon Taf? Then why not nominate them in this year’s Community Sports Awards?

Organised by Rhondda Cynon Taf’s Sports Development team, the Awards were launched in 2010 to honour the many individuals who make vital and valuable contributions to local sports clubs.

Whether they are coaches, club secretaries, or those who keep pitches in shape, these dedicated individuals often give their time for free to keep our sports clubs running and going from strength to strength.

The awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, July 13, at Rhondda Fach Sports Centre in Tylorstown and you can make nominations in the following categories:

Club-School Link:
This award is for a community club that creates a positive link with its local school/s to attract new and support existing members. This could be delivering sessions after school, sharing facilities, hosting festivals, working with 5×60 officers, etc.

This award is for clubs that have developed new projects for the benefit of the club and the community.

Young Volunteer/Coach:
