Gwent Road Policing Officers will be on hand at Magor Services on Wednesday 1st December between 8.30am and 3.30pm as part of Operation Stammtisch – the purpose of which is to offer drivers of Heavy Goods Vehicles assistance and advice.
Officers will be able to provide information on tachograph regulations, load safety and the Certificate of Professional Competence – a new training system which was introduced last year and is required to validate HGV licences.
Anyone is welcome to come along – no appointment necessary.
