A special Christmas appeal organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council called Operation Santa is aiming to support over 650 children in the area again this year.
These children are not helped by any other appeal and have been nominated by social workers who work with families across the county borough.
Operation Santa is also pleased once again this year to be helping families who are working with Women’s Aid, Home-Start and Gofal Cymru.
Local people can pledge to buy a toy and choose the age, gender and geographical area of the recipient.
It is easy to get involved – either call the pledge hotline on 01443 866577 or email [email protected] and pledge to buy a present for a child. The deadline for pledges is Friday 3rd December.
The gifts can then be delivered to one of the collection centres situated across the county borough between Monday 29th November and Monday 13th December.
