Oxjam Brecon has announced a raft of headline acts for its third annual charity music festival on Saturday October 15th.
The festival will include appearances by Revoker and The Last Republic (who recently appeared at Merthyr Rock) alongside Green Man festival favourites Under The Driftwood Tree.
In total, nearly 50 bands and solo artists of many different genres will play in Brecon – admission to all events is by a single writsband ticket costing £7 on sale now from Theatr Brycheiniog (01874 611622) and online at oxjambrecon.com. All proceeds are in aid of Oxfam GB

The festival kicks off at 1.30 pm with Italian Alt Rockers Sunday Recovery at The George Hotel (co-sponsors of the festival alongside BRFM Community Radio).
The music then spreads out across 4 other venues (Theatr Brycheiniog, The Gremlin, The Markets Tavern and Northcote Con Club) and continues through to the small hours with the emphasis on orignal music, not covers bands.
There are 37 “Takeover” events nationwide in October and Brecon and is by far and away the smallest. And yet it is one of the most succesful – over £10,000 has already been raised by Oxjam Brecon for Oxfam GB over the last two years. The recent mountain busk and other events have already raised over £3000 for this year’s fundraising effort.
