Responding to figures that show unemployment in Wales has continued to fall, Eluned Parrott, Welsh Liberal Democrat Shadow Business Minister said:
“The Economy is picking up and people are starting to feel it, employment figures are continuing to move in the right direction, but there is still a long way to go.
“The Welsh Liberal Democrats know that what matters to people is not abstract numbers and for everyone currently looking for a job it can be a real struggle and often hugely demoralising.
“We want to see the Welsh Government aggressively market Wales’ Enterprise Zones and to exploit future opportunities like next years NATO Summit to act as stimulus to sell Wales not only as a place to do business to the rest of the UK but to the rest to the World.
“We want to see Welsh businesses thrive and have the confidence to take on more staff enabling them to grow to their fullest potential.”
