Llangefni town market is making some changes in a bid to attract more shoppers.
The recently formed Llangefni Town Market partnership is holding a series of events and activities in the next few weeks to attract visitors and shoppers, old and new back, to the traditional market.
The partnership consists of Llangefni Town Council, Cwmni Tref Llangefni, Isle of Anglesey County Council, National Market Traders Association as well as local town centre business representatives.
The entire market has now relocated to the Town Hall car park so that all the stalls are together on one site. You can still buy your “5 a Day” fruit and vegetables from Tatws Trading who are moving just a few yards from their old spot to the Town Hall car park next to the foot bridge.
This Saturday (July 9th), the popular French market will be joining regular market stall holders to bring a Gallic flavour to Llangefni. Llangefni Carnival is also taking place this weekend so the town will really be buzzing.
