It was party time for a group of Abergele youngsters who had demonstrated good behaviour throughout the summer.
PCSO Alexandra Jones was so impressed by the conduct of the local youths during the holiday period that she rewarded them with a barbeque in Pentre Mawr Park.
When PCSO Jones set about asking for help, she was overwhelmed by the support of local shops and pubs.
And thanks to the Conlan Language School and Itaca the 65 youngsters in attendance at the park were able to demonstrate their skills at bungee running; skateboarding and biking, and they even had an opportunity to use the computer equipment provided by the Youth Action Group.
“Everyone had a great time interacting together,” said PCSO Jones. “It was really good to see people having fun and working together.”
The food and drinks were sponsored by local stores such as Tesco, Best One Convenience Store, Gwalia Butchers, Spar, The Gwindy public house, The Harp public house and The Bee Hotel.
