South Wales Police is investigating a serious assault that occurred in Church Street in Llantwit Major on Monday 11 January 2010 at approximately 1am.
A man has forced entry into a flat in Church Street and proceeded to assault two occupants; one of which was an elderly male. One victim sustained head and facial injuries and was conveyed to Princess of Wales hospital. The other victim received minor injuries.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested for aggravated burglary.
