Police appeal for information in Lleyn Peninsula

North Wales Police are appealing for information after the body of a 58 year old man was found on an unclassified road between Pentre Uchaf and Llithfaen on the Lleyn Peninsula, at 9pm on Sunday January 2.

Chief Inspector Nigel Harrison said that they were called to the scene after a call from a member of the public.

He said that the ambulance was also called and a local man who we can name as Dewi Wyn Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

“We are treating the death as unexplained at the moment and further inquiries are continuing. However, the death is not believed to be suspicious.”

“A post mortem will be carried out tomorrow, Wednesday January 5, to find out the cause of death.”
