Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which took place at the Paradise club in Pontardawe at the weekend.
The incident happened just before 1.45am on Sunday 9th March when a disturbance broke out, resulting in the 49-year-old female victim losing part of a finger.
Several other people were involved in the incident and have suffered various injuries.
Detective Inspector Mark Kavanagh of Neath CID said:
“There were in excess of 200 people present at the club on Saturday night into the early hours of Sunday morning when the incident took place.
“We are appealing to trace anyone who witnessed the disturbance to contact the police as many potential witnesses may have left the scene without speaking to police or leaving their details with an officer.
“The disturbance has left the female victim with a serious injury to her hand and I would urge anyone with information about what happened to come forward.”
