North Wales Police are appealing for information after a number of buildings were daubed with graffiti in Colwyn Bay.
PC Scott Martin, Community Beat Manager for the town said that they were investigating a spate of graffiti offences in the Colwyn Bay town centre area over the past week.
He said: “We are asking for the public’s help to try and identify the offender who is spray painting the letters ‘SFC’ on public and private buildings including houses around Colwyn Bay. We also want to talk to anyone who may know what the letters represent.
“Spraying graffiti is a criminal offence and the offenders could face appearing in court charged with criminal damage. A lot of public money is wasted cleaning off graffiti from buildings which could be better spent on other more worth while things.
“It also gives the wrong impression of Colwyn Bay, and undermines the hard work which the local community, council and police are doing to make the town a safe and enjoyable place to live, work and visit.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Martin on 101 or call North Wales Police on 101 (if in Wales) or 0845 6071001 (Welsh) 0845 6071002 (English) alternatively text 66767 or Crimestoppers Wales/Cymru on 0800555111.
