Police Appeal to Help Identify Stolen Jewellery

jewel1Police in Swansea are appealing to the public to help identify a large amount of jewellery.

The various rings, bracelets, necklaces and brooches were among the items recovered after officers executed a search warrant in the Swansea area.

Jewellery boxes, watches and bunches of keys were also recovered.

Detectives investigating the burglaries are now appealing for the owners of the jewellery to come forward.

A 41-year-old woman has been arrested and is currently on police bail pending further enquiries.

Detective Sergeant Carl Price of Swansea CID said:

“We believe the jewellery has been stolen during burglaries across Gower and possibly further afield.

“We are appealing to anyone who recognises any of the jewellery to come forward.”
