Colwyn Bay police are cracking down on drugs and illegal alcohol in the town.
The Neighbourhood Policing Team is determined to keep on top of any problems and are currently running regular campaigns to reduce the problem.
Sgt Alison Guillemin said: “The Colwyn Bay Neighbourhood Policing Team hold regular ‘Impact Days’ to try and keep the problems under control.
“We take the problems very seriously and these ‘Impact Days’ show the public that we are not prepared to tolerate illegal drinking or drugs,” she said.
Last week the Neighbourhood Policing Team tackled the problem of on street drinking and seized alcohol in the town centre area and Queens Park, Colwyn Bay.
This week the Neighbourhood Policing Team has been concentrating on drug offences and has so far seized a quantity of class A and B drugs from two properties in Park Road and Erskine Road, Colwyn Bay and Llanelian Road, Old Colwyn, yesterday, Monday, September 6.
So far, one person has been cautioned and police expect to speak to another shortly.
