A 51-year-old woman from the Milford Haven area has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life following a fire that extensively damaged a first floor flat at Chesnut Way, on the Mount Estate in the town, on Tuesday.
The woman appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates on Friday. Detectives from Dyfed Powys Police made an application for her to be remanded in custody.
Nobody was in the flat at the time of the fire and no one was hurt. However, neighbours had to be evacuated from their flats by Police and the Fire Service.
Police are still appealing for any witnesses to contact them immediately at Haverfordwest Police Station on tel: 101.
