Two voluntary crew members from Port Talbot lifeboat station will be taking part in the Great North Run at Newcastle on Sunday 19th September in aid of the RNLI.
Crew member Aaron Morris, a Royal Air Force Fire and Rescue Senior Aircraftman, is stationed at an RAF station close to Port Talbot, whilst crew member Rebecca Owen is a Emergency Medical Technician at one of the local ambulance stations.
Neither crew member have taken part in the Great North Run before and are now busy training to run the half marathon and raising vital funds fro the RNLI.
