Budding entrepreneurs and would be traders are being encouraged to take advantage of an online resource showcasing business opportunities in Blackwood and the wider county borough.
Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Retail Property Index provides an in depth database for all vacant business premises in Blackwood town centre, as well as those in Caerphilly, Bargoed, Risca and Ystrad Mynach town centres.
The website includes pictures of each property, along with listings of whether the property is available for lease or sale and details of the property agent.
The Retail Property Index can be found at www.caerphillybusiness.info, and the site also includes a handy search function that allows users to search for properties by location, town, lease or sale.
Cllr Ken James, Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Planning & Sustainable Development, said:
“ If you want to start a business here in the county borough, this is a great way to check out what premises are available and find the perfect location without leaving the comfort of your home.
