A pupil from a Flint primary school has designed a sign to welcome others to a recently refurbished playground.
The Cornist play area was upgraded with new equipment last summer costing £60,000.
Flintshire County Council asked Cornist Park school if they would like to design a new sign for the playground. The winner was eight year-old Dylan Hale who was congratulated on his work by local members Councillors Alex Aldridge and David Cox and the Council’s executive member for Leisure and Public Protection, Councillor Dennis Hutchinson.
Councillor Hutchinson said: “Well done to Dylan for creating such an eye catching design. We hope that children from all over the area will enjoy using this newly enhanced facility.”
