Pembrokeshire’s Conservative MPs Simon Hart (right) and Stephen Crabb are pictured with AM colleague Paul Davies (left) at the annual Young Farmer’s Club rally at Withybush Airfield on Saturday.
Also pictured is YFC county chairman William Laurence.
The rally is the highlight of the year for the 13 young farmers’ clubs in Pembrokeshire which have 600 members between them.
A month of qualifying rounds in events such as stock judging, public speaking and flower arranging take place before the day.
“It’s all very competitive but good fun too,” said Mr Laurence. “It’s the highlight of our year.”
Mr Hart added: “The YFC plays a vital role in rural life and I was very impressed by the level of hard work and talent on show on the day – especially in the Stars in their Eyes karaoke competition!”
Paul Davies AM added: “I very much enjoy visiting the YFC rally every year. It gives an opportunity for our youngsters to showcase their special talents in Pembrokeshire.”
