Welsh Conservatives have reiterated calls for a cross party body to review all Assembly Government expenditure.
Commenting on the matter, Shadow Finance Minister Nick Ramsay AM said:
“At a time when budgets are under pressure as we struggle to come to terms with the legacy of debt left by the previous Government, it is vitally important that Government resources are used appropriately.
“I would like to reiterate support for a cross party body to scrutinised Assembly Government expenditure.
“A similar body operates in Scotland and works very effectively.
“We must ensure that tax payers in Wales are truly getting value for money from the Assembly Government.”
