Officers are re-appealing for information following the theft of vehicles from two locations in Monmouthshire. The first occurred in the early hours of the morning on Monday August 17th from a secure vehicle compound in Abergavenny and the second occurred from Monmouth Showground some time between 8.30pm on Wednesday August 26th and 8.30am on Thursday August 27th. A total of thirteen vehicles were stolen.
During the course of the investigation into the thefts, which are being treated as linked, some vehicles have been recovered but eight remain outstanding:
- Black Landrover Defender – VK09DWC
- Blue Nissan Navarra Outlaw – WU56 HDE
- Black Range Rover V8 – unregistered
- Green Land Rover Defender CP57 DHN
- Black Nissan Note WM07 GVW
- Silver Ford Fiesta AU08 WZT
- Blue VW Passat AD09 SXW
- Silver VW Passat WU03 OYA
Anyone with information is asked to get in touch, in particular a female who found some keys while getting off the park and ride bus and handed keys in to gate stewards at Monmouth Showground to call Gwent Police on 01633 838 111 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
