Gwent Police would like to re-appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of Graham Dean, who failed to return to HMP Prescoed on Friday June 16th, 2006.
Graham Dean ,63, was convicted for murder in Newport Crown Court in November 1981 and received a life sentence. He is not a registered sex offender. It is believed he has contacts Cardiff, Bristol and Dorset areas.
Graham Dean is described as of slight build, five feet nine inches tall with greying hair.
Its believed there may be a potential risk to the public as Graham Dean is no longer in the custody of the prison service
Members of the public are advised not to approach Graham Dean and are asked to call Gwent Police on 01633 838111.
