Recall of Boots Body Lotion

Cardiff Council’s Trading Standards is advising people about a problem with a batch of Boots No7 Completely Quenched Moisturising Body Lotion. The batch in question has been recalled by the manufacturer after a small number have been found to have the incorrect formulation in the tube.

Customers are advised to stop using any affected product immediately and return it to their nearest Boots store where they’ll receive an exchange, alternative product or a refund.

Deputy Leader of Cardiff Council, Councillor Judith Woodman, said: “With so many buying this popular product, I would strongly urge people to follow the advice of the manufacturer and check that they do not have the batch in question.”

To check if you’ve any of the affected batch you’ll find the code embossed on the crimp at the end of the tube. The batch number is imprinted into the plastic although it might be difficult to see. If the code is 1KK, then please return the tube to Boots. If you can’t read the batch number then Boots staff will be happy for you to return this to any store.

If you’ve bought this for someone else would you please let them know about this as soon as possible. No other batch or No7 product is affected by this recall.
