Llanelli’s popular Jenkins Bakery has launched a special range of products to mark The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
“We always like to do something special to mark anniversaries,” said Russell Jenkins operations director at the Jenkins Bakery.
“We know how important anniversaries are – after all, we celebrated 90 years as a family business last year.
“To mark The Queen’s celebration, we have launched some special products.
“They include Jubilee cup cakes which will sell for 65p each, or 4 for £2.
“The popular Jenkins cup cake is half decorated in chocolate and fondant icing.
“Also on sale will be our special Jubilee celebration cake.
“Our rich moist celebration cake (pictured above), with a printed Diamond Jubilee motif, will sell for £3.99.”
Mr Jenkins added: “In addition, our shops will be offering our popular coronation chicken sandwich, priced at £2.15.”
The Jenkins Bakery employs 300 people, full and part-time, across 25 different stores in South Wales, with a main bakery and HQ in Llanelli.
