Residents and motorists in Wrexham a being urged to secure their property and not leave items on display.
The appeal comes after a number of thefts from vehicles and burglaries in the area after owners have left their homes and cars unlocked and items on display.
Sgt Ian Massie said; “We would remind people to make sure that their doors and windows are locked and vehicles secured and not to make it easy for opportunist thieves by leaving valuable on display.”
