Rhos Boys Choir made a confident debut at their first performance, appearing as part of the St David Day Concert at Stiwt Theatre in Rhos on Saturday night.
Despite facing a packed full house the youngsters performed a set of songs that delighted the audience.
The boys’ choir is the junior section of the highly successful Rhos Male Voice Choir, who also performed at the concert. Special guests included the tenor soloist Joshua Mills.
Geraint Phillips, Secretary of Rhos Male Voice Choir, said after the concert:
“There were a few nerves beforehand but that was mostly the adults I think! Once the boys got up on stage and began their first number it was all fine, and they really wowed the capacity crowd. It isn’t easy to get up and perform in front of so many people but we were very pleased with the performance and look forward to many more concerts in the future.”
The choir is being sponsored by West Coast Energy, the renewable energy developer based in Mold.
