Christopher Paul Shaw 23 of Rhyl has been charged with grievous bodily harm as a result of an incident in Edward Henry Street, Rhyl at 0010am on Monday April 25.
The 37 year old victim remains in the intensive care unit at Walton Hospital, Liverpool, where he is being treated for head and facial injuries.
