Police are appealing for information to trace the driver of a car who failed to stop after knocking a teenager off his bike.
The incident happened around 5.20pm on Wednesday 25th August when a teenage boy cycling along the pavement with his two younger brothers in Oakville Avenue, Rhyl, was hit by a car that mounted the pavement.
The car is described as a blue green people carrier, with red fluffy dice hanging from the driver’s rear view mirror.
The 15 year old youth was knocked off his bike and sustained an eye injury which needed 26 stitches, three chipped teeth and grazes to his arm and leg.
The driver, who is described as elderly and a young male passenger were seen to look back out of the front passenger window, so it is possible that they are aware of the incident.
However, the vehicle failed to stop and continued on its way towards Ty Newydd Road.
