Rhyl Robbery

Police are appealing for information after two high valued diamond solitaire rings were stolen from a jewellers shop in Rhyl.

The rings were stolen when a man entered the jewellers on Monday, January 31, and asked to try on some rings. A second man stayed at the door. Whilst the first man tried the rings on the second male called out to the first and they both ran out of the shop, with the rings. A third man hung around outside the shop.

The three men, two of whom are said to have Liverpool accents, made off in the direction of Bedford Street.

The first man is said to be white, between 25 and 30 years of age. He was wearing a dark blue / black jacket, dark tracksuit bottoms and a grey coloured hat.

The second man was shorter and of slim build. He was wearing a grey hooded top, with the hood up and tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down the legs and arms.

The third man was wearing a light blue jacket, dark tracksuit bottoms with white stripes and a baseball hat.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen three men acting suspiciously in the vicinity of Market Street in Rhyl between 4.30pm and 4.45pm on Monday to contact Central CID on 101 or 0845 6071001 (Welsh line, 0845 6071002 (English line) or text 66767.
