Barmouth inshore lifeboat Rotarian Clive Tanner was launched at 4.15pm on Friday 23 April when information was received that a powerboat with two persons on board had broken down near Llwyngwril.
The small Fletcher speedboat The Virgo with two persons on board was located half a mile from Llwyngwril. The boat had suffered engine failure so it was towed back to the launch site on Penrhyn Point, where the boat and its occupants were safely delivered.
